Scheurebe
Scheurebe is an aromatic white grape from Germany, producing wines from bone-dry to beautifully sweet. Expect grapefruit, blackcurrant, peach and tropical fruit with floral notes and lively acidity. Boldly aromatic and seriously refreshing, it’s brilliant with Thai curry, spicy noodles, sushi, seafood, salads and fruit-based desserts.


Sauvignon Blanc
Sauvignon Blanc is a dry, crisp white grape originally from France and now famous worldwide, particularly in New Zealand. Expect lime, grapefruit and gooseberry with fresh herbs and tropical fruit depending on where it’s grown. Zesty and refreshing, it’s brilliant with seafood, goat’s cheese, sushi, salads, asparagus and herby chicken dishes.


Riesling
Riesling is an aromatic white grape best known from Germany, producing everything from bone-dry wines to intensely sweet dessert styles. Expect lime, green apple and peach with floral and mineral notes. Its brilliant acidity makes it a dream with sushi, seafood, pork, spicy curry, Thai food and fruit-based desserts.


Pouilly-Fumé
Pouilly-Fumé is a dry, crisp white from the Loire Valley in France, made entirely from Sauvignon Blanc. Expect lemon, grapefruit and green apple with herbs and a distinctive flinty, mineral edge. Petit Manseng
Petit Manseng is an aromatic white grape from southwestern France, best known from Jurançon, where it produces everything from dry wines to intensely sweet dessert styles. Expect pineapple, peach and apricot with citrus, honey and spice. Its brilliant acidity makes it a great match for spicy curry, seafood, roast pork, blue cheese and fruit desserts.


Muscat Blanc
Muscat Blanc is a highly aromatic white grape grown across France, Italy, Greece and beyond, producing wines from completely dry to lusciously sweet. Expect peach, apricot and citrus with orange blossom, honeysuckle and fresh grape flavours. It’s brilliant with spicy Asian food, fruit desserts, seafood, soft cheese and fresh fruit.


Moscato Rosé
Moscato Rosé is a sweet, fruity pink wine with plenty of strawberry, raspberry and peach alongside fresh grape flavours and floral notes. Often light in alcohol and sometimes gently sparkling, it’s fun, fragrant and easy to drink – brilliant with spicy Asian food, cheesecake, fresh berries, fruit tarts and creamy desserts.


Kerner
Kerner is a fresh, aromatic white grape from Germany, producing wines that range from dry to slightly sweet. Expect peach, apricot and green apple with citrus, floral notes and a mineral edge. Crisp and fragrant, it’s brilliant with seafood, roast chicken, spicy Asian food, sushi, salads and creamy cheeses.


Gewürztraminer
Gewürztraminer is a hugely aromatic white grape best known from Alsace in France, with unmistakable flavours of lychee, peach and tropical fruit alongside rose petals and warming spice. It can range from dry to sweet, and it’s brilliant with Thai curry, spicy Asian food, aromatic chicken dishes, pork, strong cheese and fruit desserts.


Elbling
Elbling is a bone-dry, light-bodied white best known from Germany’s Mosel region, with crisp lemon, green apple and pear flavours alongside white flowers and a subtle mineral edge. Light, zesty and seriously refreshing, it’s brilliant with oysters, prawns, grilled fish, sushi, salads and fresh goat’s cheese.


Bacchus
Bacchus is a dry, aromatic white grape particularly popular in England, known for elderflower, gooseberry and citrus flavours alongside green apple and fresh herbs. Crisp, fragrant and very refreshing, it’s brilliant with goat’s cheese, seafood, grilled fish, salads, asparagus and herb-packed chicken dishes.


Asti Spumante
Asti Spumante is a sweet, fully sparkling white from Piedmont in northern Italy, made from Moscato Bianco grapes. Expect peach, apricot and fresh grape flavours with orange blossom, honeysuckle and plenty of bubbles. Light, fruity and usually low in alcohol, it’s brilliant with fruit tarts, cheesecake, pavlova, fresh berries and spicy Asian food.
